Zambia Office for Investment and Trade (ZOIT) is an institution directly under Zambia National Ministry of Commerce, Trade & Industry. Primary functions to promote Zambia to the Chinese community, and to promote Chinese enterprises to invest in Zambia, the two sides and enhance trade.

The Republic of Zambia is situated in the middle African plain, it is an inland country in subtropical zone with an area of about 760,000km2 and a population of about 11 million. Zambia is in water and mineral rich in natural resources, beautiful natural scenery, has the world's second largest waterfall ---- Victoria Falls and the world's second largest safari ---- Kafue National Park. Zambia has a lot of copper-based mineral resources, it is well-known as "Copper country" of the title. Since its independence in 1964, Zambia has been political stability, no foreign exchange control system which is ideal for investors.

Responsibility:
Promote investment and trade between Zambia and China
Provide the information to the Chinese investors regarding investing opportunities in Zambia
Provide all Chinese investors a comprehensive range of services, to ensure the smooth progress of their investment projects in Zambia
Propose to the Zambia government on the changes or additions related incentives, preferential investment policies
