Established in 1979, Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATA) is Canada's leading, most influential and entrepreneurial technology alliance,in regular contact with twenty thousand hi-tech business executives. With offices across the country, CATA is focused on the provision of business services and government relations programs that conserve and leverage member resources.

For 30 years, CATA's mission is to increase the efficiency and competitive position of its members; encourage innovation, leadership and value-added at home and abroad; and foster an environment conducive to strategic partnerships, alliances and increased exports -- the lifeblood of Canada's high tech industry.

Since the opening of CATA Shenzhen Office in 2003, we have been making joint efforts with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, Industry Canada and other Canadian government offices and organizations to promote the cooperation between Canadian and Chinese enterprises in the areas of advanced technology and education through regular business missions and in-depth customized services.
