RIEPA China is a nodal office of Rwanda Investment and Export Promotion Agency, under the ministry of Commerce and Industry of Rwanda. The agency is a public body which is charged with the responsibility to promote and facilitate trade and investment in Rwanda¡£

The main policy objectives of the agency include:
• Promotion of investment opportunities with local and foreign investors. The Agency markets all investment opportunities in Rwanda to targeted investors world wide;
• Facilitation of the establishment and smooth operations of investor projects. The Agency operates a ´one Stop Centre´ for all investors to facilitate starting their business enterprises or investment projects;
• Facilitation of business development and export production;
• Promote industrial and commercial development through the establishment of a new Free Economic Zone regime soon to be operated will boost export trade in Rwanda; and
• Advise Government on additional policies and initiatives needed to encourage and support investment in the country.

Services:
RIEPA assists investors in a variety of ways and acts on behalf of investors with related governmental agencies and provides the following:

• All licenses required for the establishment and operation of a project are procured by RIEPA on behalf of the investors e.g. notarization of related deeds, and issuance of work permits;
• RIEPA assists investors in site selection and land acquisition-whether for agricultural, industrial, or touristic activities;
• In this regard, a ´One Stop Centre´ has been established at the RIEPA headquarters to carry out the aforementioned services.
